Farm and Family Raised Hounds
We don't have very many litters every year, so it is really important to us that we breed the highest quality possible. Our pups are raised in our home, on the farm. There is plenty of smells and room to roam.

OUR STORY
Andrew and Betsy Scott
Scott Family Bloodhounds is located in Milford, Indiana. Betsy grew up on a dairy farm nearby and Andrew grew up in Central Illinois. He moved to Indiana in the Spring of 2018 and met Betsy shortly after. They got married in the Spring of 2020 despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
Andrew didn't grow up on a farm, but he helped his grandfather with his cows often while growing up. This led to his cattle addiction and fascination with genetics. He studied livestock management in college and has experience working with all sorts of animals. Andrew currently works at a cabinet factory and is studying dog training.
Betsy grew up on a dairy farm in Northern Indiana. She loves farm dogs and barn kitties. She is currently an elementary special ed. teacher. Betsy's patience is unparalleled. She is a saint!
Andrew always wanted a Bloodhound while growing up, but never had the opportunity to have one. Betsy grew up with farm dogs, her parents also raised Dalmatians when she was younger.
Andrew and Betsy bought their first dog together, Maisie, shortly after they got married. Andrew has been learning how to train bloodhounds. He has done most of the training for Mac and Gertie himself. They have been such a delight to work with and we are excited watch them continue to develop and grow!
